Finding: In short intervals as 2 range this MTScalper indicator isreally great but with the autotrading version, it's full of slippages andimpossible to trade unfortunatelly. In longer time frame as 5 min or more this MTScalperindicator is awfull, Yes it is ;-)
Analysis: So it is not possible to trade this system like this. Solution: So what? Let's inverse the trading signal for longer timeframe as 5 minutes! Tom did this programming work really easily (tooeasily?;-). Why inverse the signal? Hyp: I am a "contrarian" and I noticed that the "3higher closes or 3 lower closes" figures were a harbinger of theinstitutional placements, for "intervals" above (5min ,...): the institutionalpush the ongoing maximum return or exit a position heavily, then overreact and that is where we position ourselves as the institutional. In other words, the market will look bearish after "3higher closes" or bull after" 3 closed lower, in fact, the marketwill continue to enhance the institutional positions that are leaving theirfootprints ... These institutional work to ensure that it is not seen and therefore it is notalways clear, but they can not erase everything ... This is philosophically speaking, statistically it works to + -58% with aprofit factor to + -1.3: this is weak, but it seems to win small step by smallstep ...
Simulation: In live conditions (not in backtesting), no optimization, standard params (no target, no stop) Thuesday, mars 18 midday untill friday, mars 19 10:45 am... Screenshot
Propects: It would be interesting to optimize the parameters with aneural system.
I want to thank you for your programming work and tohave adapted all my wishes of improvements. I really appreciateMTScalperStrategy with my own parameters, already without optimization, in liveconditions for 4 major FOREX pairs and for FDAX... It should be great if you'doptimize it with a neural system. You may publish my comments/testimonial in your website. Sincerly Dom
